When I read those fashion interviews on Sunday Times Life , I imagine myself answering the same questions and having my own section[you know because its a fashion editorial and I am a fashion blogger]. The questions are always the same “3 essentials in your wardrobe; Things you can’t leave your house without…” you get the gist. They also always ask the interviewees to describe their fashion sense in one word. That baffles me – how can you describe your sense of fashion in one word? If I am asked the same question, I would probably take up the entire page answering only that – prompting them to chop out the entire section probably.
If you love fashion, its really difficult to stick to one style forever. I for one experiment with trends all the time. Its what makes it fun. I love experimenting and creating looks that goes well with my personality. I oscillate from edgy to trendy to bohemian to grunge. But the outfits I choose mostly have a feminine touch to them because thats who I am. If I want to go bohemian, I will choose to pair a pretty red dress with a rough combat boots like I have done here. The contrast that these different styles create is what draws me to fashion.
When I first saw this cold shoulder bell sleeve red dress at Zaful.com, I was instantly drawn to its silhouette. The sleeves are bohemian and the off-shoulders is quite trendy right now. Since its almost winter, I paired it with these black combat boots that I love[If you don’t know already, I have a thing for boots]. And to keep the feel of grunge continuous, I accessorized the look with chokers[another trend I am currently loving] and black bracelets. Perfect. When I am shopping for an outfit, I usually tend to be drawn towards those that stand out on their own with minimal accessories. I have similar taste in people.
