2016 is officially coming to an end and its a bitter-sweet moment for me. Although I absolutely loved 2016, I cannot wait to start 2017 and I have a million things planned already – I want to be bolder, more beautiful, fitter, travel more often, do sexier outfit posts and take my blog up to the next level, achieve higher goals at my career[I am a UX designer for those of you who don’t know it already] and concentrate on achieving a million other personal goals all of which are too personal to disclose here.
Frankly, I am a little disheveled at how fast the year seemed to fly by leaving us with only 3 more days to take stock of the year that was. But being the busiest person, I hardly have time to be retrospective right now and all my energy is going into completing tasks at hand and planning for the future. But I decided to take some time off to write this last post of the year and appreciate 2016 one last time before saying goodbye.
Lets talk about what I achieved on the blog front: This year was fantastic when it came to collaborations on the blog and I am hoping 2017 is going to be better. I am almost about to reach 10,000 followers on Instagram and that’s a huge deal for me! GJ presented me the first blog-vacation and I was thrilled to experience that, I cannot wait to do more blog related travel in the coming year! I started shooting more outfit posts this year and although its really an effort for me to wake up early on a Sunday morning to do the shoots, its absolutely worth it with all your appreciations!
On the personal front, I really feel like I have improved a lot when it comes to having patience and keeping calm when dealing with situations. I was the kind who would get perturbed very fast and would react to situations in a way that would make me cringe when I thought back. I would also beat myself up too much for not exactly being in control of them. I guess its all a part of growing up and not caring too much that has helped me improve on that front. But I want to become better at this game in 2017.
Well with that short summary of my 2016, lets get on to the outfit. I absolutely love indo-westerm style as there is something very special about them – You are basically taking inspiration from the west and styling your Indian wear with it, that requires a lot of thinking and openness from your end, whats not to like about taking risks?
Enjoy this last outfit post of 2016 and see you all next year.
