Jewellery, what does it mean to you? Do you hold the same reverential candle to it that our parents generation held? Or has it changed its meaning? I admit, personally for me, jewellery doesn’t inspire my success as much as it did for the previous generation. But thats only when I view jewellery as a piece of gold. Diamonds and other previous stones still fill me with awe. They shine and twinkle and illuminate everything around them like stars and who doesn’t want to own a piece of star?

When I come across stores(online and offline) that specialises in selling those aforementioned stars, I can’t help but spend aeons there just gazing at those glittery pieces and arguing with myself if they are worth spending that much on. I almost always end up buying them and thankfully they are still viewed as “investments” – the only kind that I enjoy doing.

When Jeulia.com approached me to review one of their  pieces, I jumped at the opportunity. I went through the site to look through all their collections and boy, they do have a lot of it. The site is full of pretty precious stone jewellery that kept me busy for hours! I could not decide which one to finalise on.

They have engagement and wedding rings, fashion jewellery and charms in various cuts, stones and price points. All of them are made of precious stones and the price varies from affordable to I-might-never-be-able-to-buy-it-in-my-lifetime kinds. They also make personalised jewellery. They store everything from necklace, rings, bracelets and earrings and have a huge variety of precious stones and metals to choose from. If I ever get a personalised jewellery made for myself from the site, I will probably choose a rose gold bracelet with my name carved on the inside and a charm(probably a cat or a leaf or a heart) made of diamond or pink sapphire hanging from the middle on the outside.

As it happens, I chose this two toned rose gold, white sapphire ring that looks absolutely gorgeous. I especially like the cut of the bigger stone set in the middle that glides and glitters beautifully.  This ring would certainly make any girl happy(*hint).
