Denim Tales and St+art Festival Bangalore:
Being a designer myself, I appreciate arts. Murals and colors speak to me and I know how much effort goes into imagining something and bringing it to life, digital or otherwise. And being a Bangalorean, I appreciate street arts that much more. I commute way too much and colorful streets are a respite to my eyes. The street art that Bangalore boasts, always have a theme and a story to them. On several occasions, I have stopped by just to stare at these intricate walls letting my imagination fabricate stories. Tiny moments like these that I gift myself make life better and keeps the child in me alive, you should try it.
St+art India Foundation supported by Asian Paints, recently initiated St+art Festival Bangalore to make our metro stations more colorful. Asian Paints is going a step further to support the initiative by providing paints and resources to color not only the four walls but streets and lives of residents of Bangalore. Many artists came together to paint our metro stations and I stopped by Church Street and Cubbon Park for a visual treat.
When I am traipsing around the city on a lazy Sunday, I always choose to wear something comfortable. This vintage v-neck half sleeve embroidered single-breasted women’s midi denim dress from dressfo was a perfect fit for this Sunday morning. Dressfo is a neat site that is curated to include some unique trendy pieces like this denim dress. Denim is one of those fabrics that never go out of style and I always wanted a denim dress thats not too cheesy. You can imagine my happiness when I found this one. I accentuated the dress with a backpack and lots of bracelets and a tassel neck piece to add a bohemian, laid back vibe to the ensemble.
