Hair fall, that cursed word can awoke various emotions in all of us. Everyone I know has experienced hair fall at some point in their life and most of them are left feeling helpless during that period. In today’s time, hair fall seems almost inevitable, like its something all of us have faced or are facing and we have given up hope on ever having a healthy strong hair that’s immune to hair fall. This sad truth was confirmed by my hairstylist when I visited him last time. He said that almost every person he attends to has hair fall issues.
Now although the experts say that its normal to lose around 100 hair on a daily basis, the idea of loosing that much everyday cumulatively means you are loosing around 3000 hair on a monthly basis and 36,500 hair on a yearly basis. That’s a lot and if it continuous for years we will be left with almost no hair by the time we are old. Yeah, so no matter what studies say, we should all take actionable steps to prevent hair-fall.
But I get it, its not easy. Controlling hair fall is almost next to impossible. Its like seasons – it comes and goes as if scheduled and there’s not much you can do about it. What if I tell you that its not true? That you can take calculated steps in order to prevent hair fall or rather control it?
How to Prevent Hair Fall – Pantene 14 day Challenge:
I personally had given up hopes before I took up the #14DayChallenge as a part of product review activity at BlogAdda in association with Pantene. I did not go into the challenge with high hopes, I rather went into it expecting no results. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised by the results that I experienced. In those 14 days of using Pantene Hair Fall Control Shampoo, my hair fall reduced drastically. I could see less hair down the drain each day and by the end of those 14 days, I had almost zero hair fall. I compared the results with this other unsuspecting shampoo brand that also caters to hair fall but found that Pantene worked better. The best thing about the shampoo though is the smell – it smells like berries and the fragrance lingers through out the day. The shampoo also leaves your hair feeling smoother and stronger. The Pantene Hair Fall Conditioner adds to the smoothness – be warned though, you will want to keep touching your hair through out the day because of how smooth it feels.

Apart from using Pantene Hairfall Control Shampoo and Conditioner, I also altered my diet a bit to ensure that the results were better – I included cod liver oil capsules in my diet and ate more fruits and drank more water. Hair and skin in the end are a reflection of what we eat and what we use externally – Its like a balance, you need to work on both ends of the spectrum to ensure good health. After all beauty is pain but pain worth taking.
I hope this helped,
