Its been a wonderful few months of winter here and I am going to miss it. I love Bangalore winters because its only pleasantly cold and everyones generally in a better mood. ‘Tis the season of comfy sweaters and hot chocolate induced comas after all. Its still quite chilly at nights here, but I can feel the winters retreating and the heat taking over.
But before the winter completely fades, I had to curate an outfit with this faux leather jacket from Zara that I have been quite literally living in for the blog. Its quite light but warm and perfect for semi-cold weather. Plus its black and I have a thing for black clothing.
The main star of the ensemble though is this grey, body-hugging dress. You can dress it down or spice it up to suit any occasion and its quite comfy and simple to wear. It also makes your body look great. I paired the dress with these white sneakers that I believe are my best buys. I am not very tall at 5’4 and I love it when my shoes has a bit of an elevation and these white kicks have a sneaky little wedge heel hidden in them. These shoes are perfect for you if you want to wear sneakers but still like a little height – I know a lot of women who do want to dress sporty but hold themselves back lest they look short. Well, now you know what the solution is. Although I own Adidas Superstars, I don’t wear them on a daily basis for the fear of ruining them, so these are the perfect everyday replacements. And quite honestly, I like these better than the superstars.
